We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Media Executive to join our Business Development Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling a diverse range of advertising solutions, including broadcast and online media, to clients across Essex and the UK. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong relationships with clients, and delivering innovative media solutions that meet their advertising needs. Company Overview
- The Kube Media Group owns Radio Kube, Kube Studios, and other companies, offering a wide range of opportunities for clients to reach consumers across the UK.
- Radio Kube operates 11 radio stations, providing a variety of music genres and shows.
- Kube Studios, based in Chelmsford, Essex, has 3 studios available for hire, catering to podcasting, business videos, and audio productions.
- We also manage several other small businesses that complement our broadcast and production facilities.
The Role
- Selling radio airtime advertising, online opportunities, sponsorships, and promotional packages.
- Initially focusing on new business clients by targeting an identified potential client base and sourcing new leads.
- Making both warm and cold telemarketing calls to secure face-to-face or remote sales meetings with prospective customers.
- Conducting structured sales processes where you'll identify business needs, then create, design, and present innovative advertising solutions tailored to each client to ensure results.
- Once clients are on board, managing, nurturing, and providing excellent customer service to encourage their business growth.
- Crafting creative pitches using the latest technology to stand out to your clients.
- Supported by robust case studies, presentation tools, metrics, and marketing information to ensure sales success.
The Candidate

- Have sales experience in any media sector (radio, outdoor, online, exhibition, events, etc.) with proven success.
- Be commercially aware, highly motivated, and naturally enthusiastic.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and the drive to develop new business in a competitive market.
- Show tenacity, ambition, and a competitive spirit.
- Excel in presenting compelling sales arguments with excellent presentation skills.
- Be creative, articulate, proactive, and quick-thinking in developing relationships.
- Naturally come up with commercially viable, creative, and innovative ideas.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be adept at negotiating at all levels of business.
Package Details
- This is a contractor position with an initial contract duration of 12 months, with a 3 month trial period.
- The role is target driven and minimum monthly targets will be agreed with the successful candidate.
- Monthly contract rate between £2300 and £3900 depending on experience.
- This is a full time position offering a minimum of 35 hours per week.
