Drivetime Presenter

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Erewash Sound, one of the East Midlands leading community radio stations for a presenter to take over Erewash Sound Drive.

The shows current presenter is sadly leaving us to move to the BBC in London. A position he has been able to secure due to the experience and coaching gained at Erewash Sound.

Our current drive presenter is just one example of how we’ve been able to launch someone into their dream industry. Erewash Sound has a track record of providing a stepping stone to a career in media.

The show is on-air Monday to Friday between 4pm and 7pm. Drive is a music and content-driven show with local content playing a key role.

Ideally, we would prefer the show to be broadcast live from our studios in Ilkeston, Derbyshire or as-live remotely. We would also consider remotely voicetracked as well. Based on the presenters' schedule elsewhere, we are flexible on the show being presented as a mixture of live and voicetracked throughout the week.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a show fee at this time. However, for the person with the relevant skills we are able to offer paid project work and paid work in our academy on an ad-hoc basis.
